Wobble direction

    Dear Mr. Baklayan:

We have a question regarding the understanding of the wobble direction.

In TCM meridians, which need support/ energy, are swept in flow direction, while meridians that require attenuation/ energy attenuation are swept against the flow direction.

From this point of view, would it therefore not be even more useful in meridians that test on HIGH to sweep in flow direction or in meridians that test on LOW to always treat them against the flow direction?

    Best regards,

Thank you for this interesting question.
At the beginning we thought the same and were surprised that it never really tests.

If you think about it, it is actually logical that it does not test.
Imagine a torrent. The setting „Low“ means that we calm this current down, so that the water (in the meridians) again flows slowly and majestically.
But if you sweep against this flow direction with the one-sided wobbling, it’s as if you created a countershaft. (In a river that would immediately lead to flooding in the hinterland).

The effect is similarly negative in our meridians. Imagine, you would sweep against the blood flow in an artery, then you have an idea that it is not favorable. Also, the following area would be (energetically) malnourished.
That is the reason that this setting hardly tests and is not entirely harmless.

Exceptions prove the rule, as always. In allergies, overreactions or massive inflammatory processes, this effect may well be intentional.

    I hope to have helped.
